The Vietnam-Denmark Cooperation Program for Vocational Education and Training Development – Phase II

The Vietnam-Denmark Cooperation Program for Vocational Education and Training Development – Phase II (VDV) held its closing workshop on December 11–12, 2023. The event was jointly organized by the Danish Ministry of Children and Education and the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam, in collaboration with the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam.

Purpose of the event:

Marking the end of Phase II (2019-2023), the conference aims to:

• Review the achievements and lessons learned in Phase II.

• Discuss the future of high-quality vocational education and training (VET) in Vietnam.

• Provide key recommendations for the development of vocational training in Vietnam.

• Introduce the theme of Phase III, including additional training at the Danish Scholarship Centre (DFC).
