SEMINAR ON THE APPLICATION OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN THE INSTALLATION OF REFRIGERANT PIPING AND WATER SUPPLY/DRAINAGE SYSTEMS

On the morning of June 19, 2024, at the second-floor hall of Ho Chi Minh City Vocational College, the Faculty of Electrical and Refrigeration Technology and the Faculty of Electronics and Automatic Control, in collaboration with One And One Company, organized a seminar titled “Application of New Technologies in the Installation of Refrigerant Piping and Water Supply/Drainage Systems.”

The seminar was designed for lecturers from the Faculty of Electrical and Refrigeration Technology and the Faculty of Electronics and Automatic Control, aiming to enhance their perspectives and hands-on experience with modern products used in the fields of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering and Industrial Electricity.

The event was attended by Dr. Trần Kim Tuyền – Rector of Ho Chi Minh City Vocational College, Mr. Phạm Văn Trọng, M.A. – Head of the Faculty of Electrical and Refrigeration Technology, Mr. Trần Phương Nam, M.A. – Head of the Faculty of Electronics and Automatic Control, along with all lecturers from the two faculties.

Dr. Trần Kim Tuyền – Rector of Ho Chi Minh City Vocational College – delivered a speech at the seminar.

Also in attendance were Ms. Ngô Thị Mai – Sales Director, and Mr. Trần Văn Đức – Sales Director of One And One Company, along with Mr. Trần Văn Hùng – Sales Manager of RIIFO Southern Office.

Representatives from One And One Company and the RIIFO Group introduced and provided opportunities for the college's faculty members to explore and experience multilayer PEX-AL-PEX piping systems, as well as accessories for air conditioning systems and water supply and drainage systems.
This activity offered lecturers a comprehensive overview of available products on the market and how to apply them in the installation of refrigerant piping and water supply/drainage systems.

 Mr. Trần Văn Đức – Deputy Sales Director of RIIFO Vietnam (One & One Company) – presented the latest market insights.

Through their practical teaching experience, lecturers from Ho Chi Minh City Vocational College also shared their professional expertise and engaged in academic exchanges with the participating businesses. They analyzed the advantages and key considerations in the installation of refrigerant piping and water supply/drainage systems. The knowledge and information shared at the seminar provided faculty members with valuable updates and hands-on insights, helping them make informed decisions and select flexible solutions when applying these technologies in teaching Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering and Industrial Electricity.

Knowledge-sharing seminars in collaboration with enterprises are regularly held at Ho Chi Minh City Vocational College. These events aim to enhance professional capacity, ensure alignment with real-world industry demands, and help lecturers refine their teaching methods while better guiding students on their future career paths.

Lecturers from the Faculty of Electrical and Refrigeration Technology and the Faculty of Electronics and Automatic Control evaluated and studied the equipment and products.

During the seminar, Ms. Ngô Thị Mai – Sales Director – presented the college with several teaching tools, including: a display sample kit of air conditioning units, a testing kit, an installation toolset for electrical works, and various components to support teaching activities.
Ms. Ngô Thị Mai also expressed her desire to build a long-term partnership with the college in the near future.
